Lionheart Roofing came to us as a new roofing company in the Myrtle Beach area, and wanted to make sure they would be well-branded from the start.
Their company brand story was at the heart of the creative direction for this project, no pun intended. At its core, Lionheart is the roofing company that cares about people and we wanted to help position them as such through their branding. From the brand name, to the tagline, to the logo, each of these elements were crafted to work as a system to reinforce this message.
Lions are a symbol of protection and courage, a perfect visual for a roofing company to adopt. Incorporating the idea of a heart into this logo helped to communicate how Lionheart is positioning themselves in the market, but also prevented the final logo from appearing too aggressive. Since the company is aimed at both home builders and homeowners, two very different audiences, the final brand needed to have mass appeal and not alienate either market segment.
