Our Branding process

A Peek Behind The Curtain

If you are thinking about getting branded or rebranded with Wraps Ink you might be thinking “What am I in for?” So let’s take you through what the process would look like, from the moment you reach out up to where we hand off the final logo and assets for your awesome new branding.

1. Brief

We will ask you to fill out a design brief to get as much information as possible up front about your project. This design brief helps us get to know you and your business, to better inform any design work we do.

Once we receive the completed design brief, we schedule a consultation to discuss it together and make sure we are in alignment on the goals of the project. At this consultation we will help find you a date on our design schedule that best fits your timeline.

2. Research

Before starting even a single sketch, we do a deeper analysis of the market you are in or entering.

What does your competition look like? Are there color schemes we should avoid? What styles of logos do your competitors use? Do any of them have a mascot? What is the brand’s target audience and what will best appeal to their sensibilities?

3. Ideation

Now that we have completed any final research needed, it is time to start designing your new brand! We start by sketching out a number of rough logo ideas. The best one(s) are then digitized on the computer in black & white to be fine-tuned further.

With a logo nailed down, we then start to build out the rest of the visual identity. This includes color palettes, font pairings, and work on any additional visual elements like custom patterns, buttons, etc.

Towards the middle of this process we will reach out to schedule a time to present you the work we’ve been doing.

4. Proof

It is finally time to show what we have been working on the past few weeks. At this presentation we will show any concepts for your new logo, go in-depth on how we arrived on the concepts, and provide some examples of how the logo and full visual identity can be implemented across a variety of branded materials.

Here you are able to give feedback or ask questions about the work. Following this presentation we will work to deliver any revisions, if needed, and move on to prepare the final files of your new brand assets.
