Initially Palm Tree Party Rentals came to us interested in a vehicle wrap design for their box truck, but during this process they trusted us to overhaul their brand to maximize the impact of their wrap and future materials.

They had previously been in a tricky situation, from a brand perspective. Palm Tree Party Rentals had primarily been providing inflatables and mechanical rides for casual, family-friendly events, but they had a desire to expand into more formal events too. Their previous branding had a playful child-like feel that would not feel appropriate for this new market they wanted to take on.

That was the challenge. Create a new visual identity that can retain a sense of fun and energy, while introducing a level of sophistication to the brand that can resonate more for weddings and other formal events.

A new logo, and specifically the icon for it, would be the foundation to executing on this strategy. We created a mark that combined the idea of a palm tree, a party hat, and confetti. Even though it has a sense of movement to it, it was built from an intricate grid of circles to give it a timeless, professional feel. A symbol that truly captures the energy and excitement they bring to spaces, but does so with a new sense of sophistication.
