As a new company in a competitive market, the biggest challenge to face is often just obscurity and becoming remembered in the community. Throne Ranger Plumbing came to us early on in their company’s journey to help take this challenge head on.

Usually we have a lengthy discovery process with companies to help identify who they are and what sort of creative direction for their branding makes sense. Throne Ranger was a rare case where they already had a strong brand name and concept for the brand ready. While they were open to other ideas to pivot to, our team thought they did their homework very well and actually loved the direction they wanted to head in.

The brand they envisioned would be fun, playful, and provide a sense of levity. This was most apparent in the crazy mascot we designed for them that combined a cowboy riding a horse that resembled a toilet. They wanted their mascot to be something that captured this playful feel and be something that even kids might point out to mom or dad.

The team at Throne Ranger Plumbing was highly collaborative, and their openness to let us have free “rein” to iterate on their ideas together allowed us to bring their vision to life, sometimes in exciting ways they didn’t expect. The end product is a brand that not only reflects who they are, but will be truly unforgettable in both their local market and any future ones they might expand into.
